ATTENDEES

Who can attend the Global Border Security Conference and Expo?
The conference and expo is open to the public. However, for security reasons, a photo identification is required at the registration desk in order to receive your badge.

What does a conference registration include?
Conference registration includes complete access to the Exhibit Hall, all conference sessions, the sit-down Awards Luncheon, all refreshment breaks, lunch on Day Two, and the VIP cocktail reception at the State Capitol Building (which requires an RSVP, no exceptions). Following the conference, each conference attendee will receive a comprehensive CDRom of presentations that are released by our speakers.

What does Expo Only registration mean?
Expo Only registration entitles you to walk the exhibit hall floor, have refreshments, eligibility for daily drawings, and a copy of the Winning White Paper and Official Show Guide. Admission to the Expo is free.

Why do I need to show identification before admission to the show?
Due to the nature of the products on display at the expo, E.J. Krause is required to monitor the attendance. In order to receive your badge, we must ensure the person receiving the badge is the person that registered.

Can I bring my spouse with me?
Yes. Spouses can walk the exhibit floor. If they would like to attend any conference sessions, the conference fee does apply.

Will there be private meeting space available at the show?
Meeting space is limited. Please contact Bernadete Alves at alves@ejkrause.com for more information.

I need to cancel my registration before the deadline has passed, what do I do?
All cancellations must be received in writing; an email will suffice. Please include the full name and address of the attendee wishing to cancel their registration to ferris@ejkrause.com. A reply will be sent within two business days confirming that a refund will be issued, less a $50.00 administrative processing fee.

I need to cancel my registration after the deadline has passed, what do I do?
Unfortunately, we can not issue refunds after the deadline, which is Monday, April 21, 2008. However, substitutions can be made at any time. If you need to substitute your registration, please email your request to ferris@ejkrause.com. You will need to provide a new registration form with the new registrant's information, designating that is a substitution at the top of the form.

Can I substitute my registration for someone else?
Absolutely. The new registrant will need to provide a completed registration form and designate at the top of the form the person he/she is replacing.


EXHIBITORS

How many booth personnel are allowed in my booth?
We do not have a maximum number, however, we ask that all exhibitors are reasonable when staffing their booths.

How many conferences passes do I receive with my booth?
Each booth (regardless of size) receives one complimentary conference pass. Once you have received your Online Exhibitor Management login and password, there will be an area to register your booth personnel and designate which person will be utilizing the complimentary pass. Should you fail to meet the deadline, the Exhibitor Registration Form will be available in order to take care of this. Making these preparations in advance, before the show, is important because these are things that we don't want our exhibitors to deal with on-site on move-in day.

Are additional conference passes available to exhibitors?
Yes. Additional full conference passes can be purchased by exhibitors at a discounted rate of $350.

What is included in my booth space onsite?

8' high back drape
3' high side divider
One 7"x44" ID Sign
Other materials and supplies will be made available through our decorator vendor. You will receive detailed purchasing information and forms in your exhibitor manual, which will be made available online as well at a later date.

How do I order additional supplies for my booth?

I lost my Online Exhibitor Manual password, what do I do?
You must contact Bernadete Alves in writing via email at: alves@ejkrause.com. She will have your password reset by the vendor and it will be resent to you. Please do not call for this information; it must be received by email.

When will I receive my exhibitor manual?
Exhibitor manuals will be available February 1, 2008. Exhibitors contracted after this date will receive their manuals within a week of contracting their space.

How do I get to the Austin Convention Center?
Please visit the Austin Convention Center's directions and maps page at: www.austinconventioncenter.com/Maps/index.htm.

How far is the Austin Convention Center from the airport?
Approximately eight miles.

Are discounted hotel rates available for exhibitors and attendees?
Yes. Once the hotels and rates have been established, they will be posted immediately. Please check back mid-January.

What is there to do around the Austin Convention Center?
